Mike, I wanted to thank you for the hunt we had this past week. I didn't know what to fully expect, but the hunting was great. I truly appreciate the effort you put forth and the time spent trying to get us a deer. The whitetail I killed could not have been any better and I can not tell you how proud and completely satisfied I am with it. I am supposed to bow hunt elk next year in colorado, but if I see if I will have enough time off work after the first of the year I would love to come back and hunt with ya'll again. I would like to say how much I enjoyed hunting with ya'll. I had dreamed of killing a nice mule deer and ya'll worked hard to make it happen despite the less than favorable weather... Everything was great from the guides to the food. This will be a hunt that I look forward to doing every year that I possibly can. Best hunt for the price in MT!!!!! In Oct of 2009 four of us hunted antelope with Rocky Outfitters and had a blast, saw many antelope and all filled our tags with good bucks, I highly recommend this hunt to anyone interested in quality antelope.

I just wanted to thank you for the many hunting trips that I've had with you. Over the years, I hunted whitetails and mule deer with you in Montana and Wyoming. Each trip has been special in its own rights. Game is always plentiful, the guides superb, and the hospitality first class. Being a dyed-in-the-wool Pennsylvania deer hunter, I come to appreciate the Western deer hunting that you offer!!!! The one morning in Montana that eight or so of us were on stands facing east and having the sun rise over the plains was spectacular and as it turns out all of us took photographs!!! My best memory of my hunting trips was the one where my brother took a 150 class whitetail!!! That deer made all of the trips worthwhile.

I also want thank you for all of the hard work you and the guides go through to put in to put us on game. Even when I've gotten down to the last day of the hunt, you're still working as hard as possible to get me that shot!!! And, each time you've delivered. Your knowledge of the game, the outstanding hunting areas that you have access to year-in and year-out, and your enthusiasm over our successes makes it so very enjoyable hunting with you!!! Now that I've retired, you might get a bit tired of me coming out every year, but hunting trips out west with Rocky are what got me through the twilight of my work career!!

I have now had the opportunity to hunt in both Montana and Wyoming with Rocky Outfitters. What has amazed me both times is the number of quality animals Mike and Rocky can put in front of you. Whitetails, Mule Deer, or Antelope, not only do these guy have the animals, but they have the patients and the know how to get you your shot. (Maybe more than one if you have trouble shooting like I did.) I really want to thank Mike and Rocky for the fantastic hunting experiences, memories, and good times in camp. The first thing I wanted to say was is Thank You! When my daughter came to me almost 2 years ago and said she knew what she wanted to do for her senior trip I laughed and said ok I'll bite, what do you want to do? Imagine my surprise when she said big game hunt. Sarah and I have always hunted together since she was 5 years old and we still do. She got the idea because I always watch hunting shows on TV and she said "Why not live the dream instead of just watching it on TV".

It was at this time I told her to pick the game and I started looking for hunts. She came to me 2 weeks later and said she either wanted Mule Deer or Antelope.

After searching the web and calling a lot of outfitters I happened to find your site. The prices were very reasonable and after talking with you I realized Sarah could have both the animals she wanted. I booked the hunt with you on opening day October 1, 2010 for the opening week of the 2011 season.

You gave me lots if suggestions on how to prepare Sarah and I for the hunt, traveling to and from Wyoming and how to apply for the tags. I also appreciate the phone calls throughout the year leading up to the hunt to make sure we had done all the right things for our tags and to ask if we had any questions.

When the day finally arrived for us to leave for the hunt we were so excited. We arrived at the camp and immediately tested our guns. Then you took us around your lease, scouting for possible animals we might want to hunt the next day. After scoutting we had our first meal at the cabin and all I can say about the meals you provided is they were outstanding.

The entire hunt was more than we could have ever hoped for. We both tagged out with nice animals by the third day and of course Sarah's were bigger than mine. I took your advice ahead of time and had already made plans for sight seeing just in case we tagged out early. We had a lot of fun seeing things very few people from Alabama get to see.

I would like to volunteer as one of your references, because I don't think anyone could find a better outfitter than you. Again thank you for the best trip my daughter and I have ever had.

Dave & Mike,

I wanted to drop you a line to thank you all for a great hunting trip in Montana. The amount of deer we saw was incredible, the 1st night I bet I had 40 deer walking by my blind, Whitetail and Mule Deer. Everyday and night after that was about the same. I have been to alot of outfitters around the USA and I have never seen anything like it. We hunted with Dave and he worked very hard to make our hunt successful, and on my favorite day of the year to hunt (Halloween) I got my first Mule Deer. I am a fanatical Whitetail hunter but when I saw those Mule Deer I became a big fan real quick and there were a ton of them to look at. When those 2 big bucks come walking up that Halloween morning I thought they were cows, they were just so big. Dave was a great guide and has a gifted eye for spotting deer at long distances or for that matter any distance. Next time i come out and decide I am going to try and follow Dave walking I will bring 2 asthma inhalers and a cardiac crash kit, the guy is like a machine walking across those hills. Well again thanks for a great hunt in a beautiful part of the country.
